this is truck.
he has a pretty big dent in his sleek black exterior. by pretty i mean beautiful. he is a darkling beetle.
i found him in my shower during a blizzard. uncomfortable dumping him in the snow, i made a home for him in a ball jar. it’s been over a month now, and he’s still trucking. i feed him european salad mixes. we exchange knowing glances.
